Overview
CTS has been designed by 7 Layer Solutions specifically for Cash-in-Transit operators and for monitoring the transportation of valuables. The system caters for consignment, container and content tracking, from order packing to client delivery, or from client site collection to cash centre reception.
CTS is designed for integration with an existing VMS (Vault Management System) or external systems for order processing, route management or deposit processing systems. It will provide a complete end-to-end set of operational processes and a seamless audit trail together with performance metrics for CiT management.
CTS will ensure that crews follow the operational processes defined by management, as well as automating and closing gaps in current tracking systems.
In recognition of constraints that organisations face CTS can be ordered and implemented in modules.
The starter step is the use of hand-held computers by vehicle crews to capture the seal numbers of collected containers and their delivery, and the services to be undertaken at each location.
The complete solution integrates with a VMS and other systems for automated data capture of the route manifest, run sequence, container data, and location information as well as the upload of completed runs to those systems and activity analyses for CiT managers.
