Background
Every shopper is familiar with the supermarket check-out and has experienced the ever increasing use of
technology to improve payment operations. However few realise what happens to the cash after it is
received by the cashier. The back office is where all the physical cash, cheques, vouchers and other
payment media have to be reconciled with the values recorded into the Point of Sale system, where
bank deposits are prepared and where till floats are made ready for cashiers to use for change purposes.

RCO brings a new level of cash automation to retailing. It simplifies reconciliation, whilst speeding up counting and cash dispensing and frees up staff to concentrate on more profit generating tasks.
