The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist certifications enable professionals to target specific technologies and to distinguish themselves by demonstrating in-depth knowledge and expertise in their specialised technologies.

7 Layer is delighted to announce that two of its team members have achieved this recognised industry accreditation - MCTS - in their chosen speciality - Windows mobile 5.0. Richard Wood scored a perfect 100% in the module 'Implementing and Managing'. His accreditation entailed passing an exam that demonstrated a deep and broad understanding of designing, implementing and managing mobile infrastructures, mobile devices and mobile applications in a business environment. Anant Singh, an enthusiastic and proactive member of the software development team, chose the 'Applications' module and successfully proved his ability to build data-driven mobile applications by using the .NET Compact Framework, SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition and Windows Mobile 5.0.
