7 Layer Solutions celebrate IIP award

Since 7 Layer Solutions was founded in 1999, the directors, Lee Maisner and Richard Wood, have experienced several periods of change, but they are now experiencing one of their most rapid periods of growth despite the current economic climate.

 

With an already excellent staff retention level, the directors were keen to develop their greatest asset, their people. In October they were reviewed against the Investors in People Standard by Quality South West, the Investors in People Centre for the South West and they have now successfully achieved the certfication.

 

Marketing Manager Tracy Kennish said: This is fantastic news for us. The Investors in People project has touched every part of our business. We are a rapidly growing company and we have used Investors in People as a template on how we should manage and engage everyone within the business - and measure our progress.'

 

Assessor for Quality South West, Jane Roberts commented: I am delighted that 7 Layer Solutions has achieved the Investor in People Standard. Staff are encouraged and supported in their development, with a great deal of knowledge sharing taking place on a day to day basis. Team leaders promote an 'open-door' policy and staff feel that they are always accessible and on hand' to provide suggestions where needed.'

The company has undertaken contracts for banks, security companies, suppliers of cash processing systems and commercial companies, including some of the industry’s best known names.
