7 Layer form additional MI Team to better service Cash Logistics Sector

At one end of the scale are Central or Reserve Banks who distribute new banknotes and coin and dispose of unfit currency. At the other, the points at which the public collect and recycle money – ATMs, shops, retail enterprises and bank branches. In the middle are cash centres run by commercial banks or security companies. These are bulk processing locations for receiving, checking, sorting, stocking and re-packing cash for onward distribution via the Cash-in-Transit operators.

7 Layer Solutions are experts in this field. The company has been engaged in outsourcing contracts by a variety of banks and cash industry suppliers since its inception. In addition its senior staff has many years prior experience in cash systems development, business process consultancy and solution selling. The Wholesale Banking Team services cash centres & central banks, focusing on the development and maintenance of applications in this complex area of business activity. A ten year business partnership with one of the key industry players in the cash logistics environment has established and continues to uphold our unprecedented reputation and our testimonials are testament to the respect we have earned in the sector.

The Commercial Retail Team services retail & bank branches. Working in partnership with a leading Japanese manufacturer of high quality cash processing machines, 7 Layer have developed a retail and bank branch cash processing system to integrate with their currency recyclers. We have recently successfully conducted a desk pilot of our Mercury Consignment Tracking System CTS with a key name in the CIT industry in Australia and are constantly reviewing business opportunities to add to this suite of software products exclusively designed to service the cash logistics sector.

The Management Information Team services all sectors of the cash industry pyramid and they focus their specialist knowledge in the area of database consultancy, business intelligence and reporting.
